Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the StepBloom app (“the app”), published by Chore Coach LLC, doing business as Lindon Digital (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA applies to the extent of the conflict.

What StepBloom does

StepBloom lets you manually record steps you actually walked but your device did not count, and saves them to Apple Health with your permission. It also shows your totals, goal progress, streaks, and charts.

Your responsibilities

You agree to record only steps you actually walked, and you are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Do not use StepBloom to create false records for contests, rewards programs, insurance, employer wellness programs, or any other purpose where accurate activity data is required.

Health information

StepBloom is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing any exercise program.

Apple Health and other apps

Other apps decide for themselves whether and how to use data from Apple Health, and their own terms apply. We do not control and cannot guarantee how other apps count, display, or reward steps recorded through StepBloom.

StepBloom PRO

Plans. StepBloom PRO is offered as weekly, monthly, and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and as a lifetime one-time purchase. PRO removes ads and unlocks additional presets. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep PRO until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restoring. You can restore purchases made with the same Apple ID from the app’s Settings tab.

Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you in advance as required, and you can choose whether to continue.

Advertising

The free version of StepBloom displays third-party ads from Google AdMob. Some features in the free version may ask you to watch an optional video ad. Our handling of ad-related data is described in the Privacy Policy.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app, or use it in any unlawful way. StepBloom, its design, artwork, and content are owned by Chore Coach LLC.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or third-party app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chore Coach LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
